Lazy Stewed Rice with Corn
Ingredients
- Onion 1 piece
- Canned Corn 1 can
- Long-Grain Rice 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Red Curry Powder to taste
- Chicken bones 10 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion, sauté it in oil, and place it in a baking dish.
Step 2
Drain the liquid from the corn and place it on top of the onion.
Step 3
Add a layer of raw rice. Season with salt and spices. Pour in 3 cups of boiling water.
Step 4
Season the chicken (I used wings, thighs, and legs) with salt and pepper, rub with paprika, and place on the rice.
Step 5
Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in a preheated oven at 200–430°F.
Step 6
Stew until cooked, approximately 35–40 minutes.
