Ingredients
- Potatoes 0 lbs
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Blue Cheese 0 oz
- Red Bell Pepper 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- Pepper Mix to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and slice them into rounds about 2 mm thick.
Step 2
Grate the cheeses and mix them together.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the milk and egg, add most of the cheese. Season with spices, add salt, and lightly beat with a fork.
Step 4
Finely chop the pepper with a knife.
Step 5
Rub the baking dish with garlic and grease it with olive oil.
Step 6
Evenly layer half of the potatoes in the dish, spread half of the milk and cheese mixture over them.
Step 7
Sprinkle with half of the chopped pepper. Then layer the remaining potatoes, pour the mixture over again, and sprinkle with bell pepper. Top with the remaining cheese.
Step 8
Bake for 40-50 minutes in an oven preheated to 390°F (about 30-40 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered for browning).
