Lamb Leg in Lemon-Garlic Marinade
Ingredients
- Lamb Neck Fillet 5 lbs
- Salt 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a jar, mix salt, pepper, minced garlic, oil, and juice from 2 lemons. Close the lid and shake.
Step 2
Trim excess fat from the meat and coat it with the marinade. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 24 hours, periodically basting with the marinade.
Step 3
Preheat the grill or barbecue. 40 minutes before grilling, take the meat out of the refrigerator.
Step 4
Place the meat on the grill and cook, turning every 15 minutes, until done (grill for about 2 hours).
Step 5
Transfer to a serving platter and let rest for 10 minutes.
