Lamb Kebabs in Yogurt Marinade

Ingredients

  • Salt 1½ teaspoons
  • Natural Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ground Black Pepper 0.3 teaspoons
  • Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
  • Red Curry Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Ground Cumin ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Lamb 5 lbs

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, mix yogurt, 0.25 teaspoons of salt, 2 pinches of black pepper, ginger, curry, cumin, and minced garlic. Pour into a plastic bag, add lamb cut into small pieces, mix well, seal tightly, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat the grill or barbecue.

Step 3

Remove the meat from the marinade and thread onto skewers. Sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper. Grill for about 6 minutes for medium doneness.
