Lamb Kebabs in Yogurt and Spices with Zucchini
Ingredients
- Natural Yogurt ¼ cup
- Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
- Paprika 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ground clove ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Mini vegetables 15 oz
- Lamb 0 lbs
- Pide bread 6 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix yogurt, paprika, cumin, allspice, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add 1.5 teaspoons of salt and 0.5 teaspoons of pepper. Add the cubed meat, mix, and let marinate for 1 hour at room temperature or for 3 hours in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Preheat the grill or barbecue. Cut the zucchini into pieces.
Step 3
On skewers, alternate threading the meat and zucchini. Brush with the remaining olive oil, lightly salt and pepper. Grill for about 6 minutes until the meat is browned for medium doneness.
Step 4
Serve by placing the kebabs on warmed pita bread.
