
Lamb in Wine with Prunes and Thyme

- Lamb 30 oz
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Red Grape Juice 5 fl oz
- Prunes 5 oz
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Thyme 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic Vinegar 4 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place sugar in a pot and heat until it melts and turns caramel in color. Add vinegar and stir.
Step 2
Add prunes, broth, and wine. Boil for 10 minutes until half of the liquid evaporates. Add 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped thyme.
Step 3
In a cast-iron skillet, sear the lamb (4 steaks, 200 grams each) until cooked — about 4 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Place the meat on a serving dish, drizzle with sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining chopped thyme.
