Ingredients

  • Lamb 30 oz
  • Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
  • Red Grape Juice 5 fl oz
  • Prunes 5 oz
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Thyme 2 tablespoons
  • Balsamic Vinegar 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place sugar in a pot and heat until it melts and turns caramel in color. Add vinegar and stir.

Step 2

Add prunes, broth, and wine. Boil for 10 minutes until half of the liquid evaporates. Add 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped thyme.

Step 3

In a cast-iron skillet, sear the lamb (4 steaks, 200 grams each) until cooked — about 4 minutes on each side.

Step 4

Place the meat on a serving dish, drizzle with sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining chopped thyme.
