Ingredients
- Lamb Shoulder 6 pieces
- Canned Grape Leaves 12 pieces
- Puff Pastry 6 pieces
- Lemon ½ piece
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Fresh Mint to taste
- Marjoram 3 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, prepare the marinade. Mix the olive oil, marjoram, juice of half a lemon, crushed garlic, and add salt and pepper to taste. Place the lamb in the marinade and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Step 2
Brush the rolled out pastry sheets with melted butter. Place a grape leaf on the pastry, add a piece of lamb on top, and cover with another grape leaf. Then wrap the lamb in the pastry and place it in an oven preheated to 190°C (375°F). Repeat with the remaining lamb chops.
Step 3
Bake for 20-30 minutes until a crispy golden crust forms.
Step 4
Serve the dish garnished with mint leaves.
