  • Lamb Shoulder 6 pieces
  • Canned Grape Leaves 12 pieces
  • Puff Pastry 6 pieces
  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Fresh Mint to taste
  • Marjoram 3 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, prepare the marinade. Mix the olive oil, marjoram, juice of half a lemon, crushed garlic, and add salt and pepper to taste. Place the lamb in the marinade and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Step 2

Brush the rolled out pastry sheets with melted butter. Place a grape leaf on the pastry, add a piece of lamb on top, and cover with another grape leaf. Then wrap the lamb in the pastry and place it in an oven preheated to 190°C (375°F). Repeat with the remaining lamb chops.

Step 3

Bake for 20-30 minutes until a crispy golden crust forms.

Step 4

Serve the dish garnished with mint leaves.
