Description
Lamb in Bean Sauce
Ingredients
- Boneless Lamb Leg 30 oz
- Sweet Pepper 2 pieces
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Sake 0 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
- Sweet Chili Sauce 2 spoons
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the lamb into thin pieces. Mix together the soy sauce, sugar, and sake, chop the chili pepper, add it to the marinade, and let the lamb marinate for three hours.
Step 2
Slice the red onion into half-rings and cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
Step 3
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil, then sauté the bean sauce and thinly sliced ginger in it.
Step 4
Add pieces of marinated lamb and sauté them for three to four minutes, then add the onion and bell pepper. Continue to sauté for another three to four minutes, remove from heat, and serve immediately.
Step 5
You can make an additional side dish. Of course, it's easiest to stick with plain boiled rice, and that would be great. However, you can take a little extra effort and boil 300 grams of thin egg noodles, finely slice some Chinese cabbage, and lightly sauté it in a mixture of soy sauce, vegetable oil, and cumin. Then, mix it with the noodles and serve it alongside the lamb.
