Lamb Chakapuli

Ingredients

  • Lamb 5 lbs
  • Herbs 10 oz
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz

Step 1

Cut the meat into small pieces: just the flesh and pieces with bone.

Step 2

Wash the herbs and chop them finely.

Step 3

In a large pot, lay a layer of meat, then generously sprinkle it with herbs.

Step 4

Then add another layer like that.

Step 5

No matter how much meat there is, there should be herbs on top in any case.

Step 6

Add 50 ml of wine.

Step 7

Place on the stove.

Step 8

Cook for 2 hours, gradually adding wine.

Step 9

After two hours, add salt. Then cook for another 30 minutes. Do not stir.
