Kystyby with Green Onions
Ingredients
- Water 5 fl oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Salad Potatoes 0 lbs
- Scallions 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bake on a well-heated dry skillet until golden brown. To make the flatbreads softer, you can place them in a bag or cover them with a towel.
Step 2
Generously spread butter on both sides of each flatbread and fold them in half, placing the filling inside. They can be served hot or cold, to taste.
Step 3
For the filling: boil the potatoes, season with salt and pepper to taste, and mash them into a puree.
Step 4
Add finely chopped green onions and mix well.
Step 5
For the dough: mix a cup of water, half a cup of milk, add half a teaspoon of salt, and 3–4 cups of flour (the consistency should be similar to dumpling dough).
Step 6
Roll out the dough into flatbreads about 20 cm in diameter.
