Ingredients

  • Kohlrabi 1 piece
  • Meat 10 oz
  • Rice ½ cup
  • Onion 1 head
  • Wheat Flour ½ cup
  • Passata Tomato Sauce ½ tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil ½ cup

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grate the kohlrabi on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Cut the meat into small pieces and sauté in vegetable oil in a saucepan or a pot for making pilaf. (Everything is cooked on low heat)

Step 3

Add the grated kohlrabi and a little water to the sautéed meat. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the rice and continue to simmer until almost cooked, adding water as needed.

Step 4

When the rice is nearly ready, pour the sauce over it. Sauce: dry the flour in a hot pan, add vegetable oil, then sauté with the tomato. After that, add water and simmer everything together.

Step 5

Sauté the finely chopped onion and add it to the sauce. Pour the sauce into the saucepan with the kohlrabi. The sauce should cover the rice, as when preparing pilaf.

Step 6

Simmer until the rice is fully cooked. Add salt, pepper, and spices to taste.
