Ingredients

  • Lamb 5 oz
  • Salad Potatoes 5 oz
  • Tomatoes 5 oz
  • Onion 0 oz
  • Eggplants 0 oz
  • Chinese green beans 0 oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the fatty lamb belly or loin into small pieces.

Step 2

Slice the peeled onion and washed tomatoes into wedges.

Step 3

Wash the green bean pods, remove the strings, and cut them in half.

Step 4

Cut the bell pepper into four pieces and remove the seeds.

Step 5

Trim the stem off the small eggplants.

Step 6

In a clay pot (kchuch), layer the sliced potatoes, prepared onion, green beans, bell pepper, and tomatoes.

Step 7

Arrange the eggplants around the edges of the pot, sprinkle with chopped herbs, then add the pieces of meat, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and pour hot water just enough to cover the ingredients.

Step 8

Simmer the meat in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours.

Step 9

Serve the kchuch in the same pot.
