Julienne with Mushrooms and Tender Chicken Fillet
Ingredients
- Morels 20 oz
- Chicken fillet 20 oz
- 33% Cream 5 fl oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Nutmeg 1 teaspoon
- Butter to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
Step 2
Slightly brown in butter on both sides.
Step 3
Dice the mushrooms and finely chop the onion.
Step 4
Sauté the onion and mushrooms in butter (you can also use vegetable oil, but butter is tastier) until they become soft and the onion is translucent.
Step 5
Heat the cream in a saucepan, add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Step 6
Add the mushrooms and onion to the saucepan with the sauce, mix well, and keep on heat for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 7
Place the chicken fillet in cocottes for julienne or in a dish where you will cook the meal, then pour the creamy sauce with mushrooms and onions on top.
Step 8
Sprinkle with grated cheese so that it covers the entire surface of the dish.
Step 9
Place in a preheated oven at 390°F and bake for 15–20 minutes.
