Juicy turkey with spicy herbs
Ingredients
- Ocean salt 0 oz
- Water 0 qt
- Turkey 30 oz
- Champignons 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Thyme 6 sprigs
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dissolve sea salt in water.
Step 2
Soak the turkey in the prepared solution for 1 hour.
Step 3
Slice the mushrooms.
Step 4
Zest the lemon.
Step 5
Combine the mushrooms with the zest and other mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 6
Rinse and pat dry the turkey.
Step 7
Place the turkey in a foil pouch.
Step 8
Add the mushrooms, white wine, thyme, and softened butter.
Step 9
Bake the turkey in the oven at 390°F for 25–30 minutes.
