Japanese Curry
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 5 pieces
- Boiled White Round Rice 3 cups
- Potato 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Red Curry Powder 0 oz
- Water 3 cups
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the rice.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces, season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Dice the garlic, slice the onion into rings, cut the carrot into quarters, and cube the potato, but do not cut them too small.
Step 4
In a deep skillet or wok, fry the chicken with garlic until lightly browned.
Step 5
Add the remaining vegetables. Fry until the onion is soft.
Step 6
Stir everything in the pot and pour in 6 cups of water, simmer covered on low heat until the potato is cooked.
Step 7
Add the curry powder, simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 8
Serve the rice on a plate and top with the sauce.
