Ingredients
- Garam Masala 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root 1½ teaspoons
- Cayenne Pepper ¼ teaspoon
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Onion 1 head
- Minced garlic 2 teaspoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- Canned Tomatoes (Pelati) 15 oz
- Smoked Chicken 1 piece
- Frozen green bean pods 10 oz
- Cream (40%) 0.3 cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix together garam masala, ginger, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Step 3
For the sauce, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté, stirring, for 5 minutes until golden brown. Add the minced garlic, tomato paste, and spice mixture. Sauté for a minute, stirring, until fragrant. Then add the tomato sauce and tomatoes, and mix well.
Step 4
Add the chicken, stir, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring, until the chicken is heated through. Then transfer the chicken to a serving dish, cover with foil, and keep warm.
Step 5
In the skillet, add the peas and cream, mix, and heat well without boiling.
Step 6
Pour the sauce over the chicken.
