Honey Rabbit
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 7 cloves
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream 1½ cans
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Mushroom seasoning 1 teaspoon
- Rabbit 1 piece
- Bay leaf 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take a medium rabbit, cut it into small portion pieces along with the bones — about 12 pieces.
Step 2
Take a deep frying pan or pot, pour in olive oil, and fry the rabbit on high heat for about 7 minutes, then set the rabbit aside in a warm place.
Step 3
Lower the heat to medium, add finely chopped onion and garlic to the same pot. Sauté for about 4 minutes, then add carrots sliced into small rounds, bell pepper diced, and pieces of the rabbit. Mix everything and pour in 250 grams of sour cream, then cover with a lid.
Step 4
After about 40 minutes, add a tablespoon of honey, stir, season with salt and pepper. Then add 1 teaspoon of seasoning and the bay leaf. Continue to simmer until fully cooked.
