Description

Honey Glazed Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • Pork Skewers 5 lbs
  • Raw cane sugar 2 spoons
  • Soy Sauce 2 spoons
  • Soy Sauce 2 spoons
  • Cognac 5 fl oz
  • Sesame Oil 0 fl oz
  • Honey 4 spoons
  • Kung Pao Sauce 2 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare a marinade using sugar, light and dark soy sauce, sesame oil, cognac (or whiskey), and hoisin sauce. Marinate the pork ribs for eight hours.

Step 2

Then preheat the oven to 430°F. Place the ribs on a baking sheet, and set the marinade aside.

Step 3

Bake the ribs for fifteen minutes, then remove them and reduce the oven temperature to 355°F. Brush each rib with honey (it's easiest to do this with a wide brush) and return them to the oven for another ten to fifteen minutes.

Step 4

During this time, place the marinade from the ribs into a saucepan and reduce it until it thickens into a sauce.

Step 5

Serve the ribs with the sauce. They can be enjoyed hot or cold.
