Honey Chicken with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 20 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Corn Starch 0 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Honey 5 oz
- Snap Peas 5 oz
- Toasted Sesame 2 tablespoons
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small cubes. Lightly beat the egg white and add the chicken to it. Coat in cornstarch. Shake off the excess.
Step 2
Heat a wok over high heat, add 1.5 tablespoons of oil, and spread it around the pan. Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a paper towel.
Step 3
Reheat the wok over high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until soft. Add the diced green bell pepper and carrot and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add the sugar snap peas and cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add honey to the vegetables and mix well. Return the chicken to the wok and mix again. Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle with spices. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds.
