Description

You can add onion, bell pepper, lemon, and carrot to the stew. However, the potatoes will not be baked as well as without them, as there will be too much liquid.

  • Salad Potatoes 10 pieces
  • Beef 20 oz
  • Khmeli-suneli to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Malt Vinegar 0 fl oz
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
  • Garlic 1 head
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the potatoes into cubes, preferably in a bowl. Also, cut the meat into cubes and place it together with the potatoes. Add salt, pepper, and the khmeli-suneli spice mix. Pour in the wine vinegar. Leave it in the refrigerator for half an hour to marinate the potatoes and meat (instead of vinegar, you can use red wine).

Step 2

Prepare a baking bag. Place the contents of the bowl into it. Add the garlic cloves (preferably unpeeled). Carefully poke 7-8 holes in the top of the bag with a toothpick and place it in a preheated oven. Maintain a temperature of 355°F for the first 40 minutes of cooking; later, you can lower the temperature so that the potatoes finish cooking, and the meat becomes tender and 'melts' in your mouth.

Step 3

Serve in a deep dish, sprinkled with parsley.
