Homemade Marinated Hake
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Water ½ cup
- Fillet of small-eyed hake 20 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the hake.
Step 2
Pat the fish fillet dry with a paper towel, cut into small pieces, and rub with salt. Dredge in flour and fry in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 3
Cut the carrot and pepper into strips. Sauté for 10 minutes in a greased pan.
Step 4
Dissolve the tomato paste in half a cup of water. Pour into the vegetables, stir, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 5
On a plate, place the marinade, then the fish on top, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with herbs.
