  • Wheat Flour 3 cups
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Water 5 fl oz
  • Beef 20 oz
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk 5 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the dough. Crack the egg into the flour and gradually add the milk and water, then add salt. Knead the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Prepare the filling. Pass the beef through a meat grinder, add salt, pepper, and finely chopped onion to the meat, and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Divide the prepared dough into equal parts. Roll out a thin sheet of dough to fit the size of the dumpling mold and place it in the mold.

Step 4

In the depressions of the mold, place pieces of the filling for the dumplings. Roll out a second sheet of dough, cover the mold with the dough and meat filling. Use a rolling pin to gently roll over the future dumplings so that the mold separates the filling into dumplings.

Step 5

Flip the mold to let the dumplings fall out, and coat the dumplings well in flour.

Step 6

Boil the dumplings in salted water for 10 minutes. Serve with butter, sour cream, or vinegar.
