Homemade Chicken Ham
Main Dishes • Author's
Description
For this recipe, it's best to use not only chicken fillet but also dark meat, as it will provide the necessary flavor and juiciness.
Ingredients
- Garlic 1 clove
- Gelatin 1 tablespoon
- Spices 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Italian chopped parsley 1 teaspoon
- Chicken fillet 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into medium pieces, season with salt and pepper, add minced garlic, spices, and gelatin. Mix well and let it sit for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the necessary length of the baking bag and tie one end with string. Place the bag in a tin can (about 600 ml capacity) and tightly pack the meat. Tie the remaining end.
Step 3
Bake in the oven at 375°F for about 1 hour. It's best to place the can on a baking sheet, as some juices may leak out.
Step 4
Cool the ham in the can, refrigerate overnight, and then remove it and free it from the bag. Slice it not too thin.
