Homemade Chicken and Red Onion Skewers

Ingredients

  • Red Wine Vinegar 5 fl oz
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Coarse Salt to taste
  • Honey 1¼ tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Chicken Thighs 8 pieces
  • Spanish onions 1 head

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the onion and cut it into 8 segments. Cut each chicken thigh into 3 pieces.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the vinegar, minced garlic, 1.5 teaspoons of salt, honey, olive oil, and a bit of black pepper.

Step 4

Add the chicken and onion to the marinade, mix, and let sit for 15 minutes.

Step 5

On 4 skewers, thread 6 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of onion.

Step 6

Place the skewers on a baking sheet and drizzle with the marinade.

Step 7

Bake for 35–40 minutes until cooked through.

Step 8

Transfer to a serving dish and drizzle with the juices.
