Homemade Burger Patty with Green Onions and Oats
Main Dishes • European
Description
If the minced meat doesn't hold together well, add a bit more oats, mix, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. The finished patty can be served with fresh vegetables or used to make a burger.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Scallions 0 oz
- Veal Tenderloin 5 oz
- Ground Oats ⅓ cup
- Italian chopped parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the piece of beef tenderloin with a knife — first, cut the meat into small pieces, then grind each piece to a minced state, but not to a paste. Place it in a deep bowl.
Step 2
Add oats and the egg to the minced meat and mix well. Season with salt, pepper, add the Italian herb mix, and a generous handful of chopped green onions. Mix everything again.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a wide skillet. Form a large ball from the prepared minced meat, place it in the skillet, and slightly flatten it with your hand to create a large round patty. Fry on both sides until a crust forms, flipping with two spatulas.
