Description

Grilled Turkey Cutlet with Rice and Herbs

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet 20 oz
  • Rice 5 oz
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Dill 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the turkey fillet into pieces about 2 centimeters thick and pound them with the flat side of a meat mallet to avoid damaging the meat, just to relax it a bit.

Step 2

Season with salt and pepper, coat with olive oil, and drizzle lemon juice on both sides.

Step 3

Cook the rice as usual: for one cup of rice, use one and a half cups of water. Season with salt to taste.

Step 4

Grill for 2 minutes on each side, then turn perpendicularly to the grill marks and cook for another minute.

Step 5

Remove the meat from the grill, cover with foil to let it rest.

Step 6

Serve drizzled with lemon juice, with blue cheese or BBQ sauce.
