
Grilled Steak with Potatoes and French Green Peas

Description
Tabasco sauce can be replaced with any other hot (or not so hot) sauce to your taste.
Ingredients
- Steaks 15 oz
- Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
- TABASCO® 1 tablespoon
- Chinese green beans 10 oz
- Salad Potatoes 5 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small container, mix olive oil with steak sauce. Apply the mixture to the steak and let it marinate for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes, removing them from heat a couple of minutes before they are fully cooked — they should remain firm. Let cool, cut in half lengthwise, and fry until golden brown.
Step 3
Place the pea pods in a glass container, add water, and microwave them for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Heat oil in a skillet and fry the steaks for 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a serving dish.
Step 5
Drain the water from the peas, reserving 1/4 cup for the sauce. Add the beans to the skillet where the steaks were cooked to absorb the meat's flavor, and add the reserved cooking water. Keep on high heat until the water boils. Serve the beans alongside the steaks immediately.
