Tabasco sauce can be replaced with another hot tomato sauce of your choice.

Ingredients

  • Steaks 5 oz
  • TABASCO® 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Green Peas 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small container, mix olive oil with the steak sauce. Apply the mixture to the steak and let it marinate for at least an hour, preferably overnight.

Step 2

Place the pea pods in a glass container, add water, and microwave them for 3 minutes.

Step 3

Heat oil in a skillet and fry the steaks for 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a serving platter.

Step 4

Drain the water from the peas, reserving 1/4 cup for the sauce. Add the peas to the skillet where the steaks were cooked to absorb the meat's flavor, and add the reserved cooking water. Keep on high heat until the water boils. Serve the peas alongside the steaks immediately.
