Description
Grilled shrimp are a delicious and easy dish to prepare for a summer barbecue. Simply marinate the shrimp in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice, then thread them onto skewers and grill until they turn pink and slightly charred. Serve with a side of fresh salad or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- Shrimp 20 oz
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Parsley 0 oz
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Chili Flakes ½ spoons
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Light the charcoal.
Step 2
Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails on.
Step 3
Make a cut along the back of the shrimp and carefully remove the digestive tract. Repeat the same process with the remaining shrimp.
Step 4
Finely chop the parsley and rosemary leaves.
Step 5
Combine olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, chopped herbs, and chili flakes.
Step 6
Add the garlic that has been pressed.
Step 7
Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Pour a bit of sauce into a sauce boat, and marinate the shrimp in the remaining sauce for half an hour.
Step 9
Quickly grill the shrimp on the barbecue until golden brown on both sides.
Step 10
Serve the shrimp hot, with a wedge of lemon and sauce.
