Ingredients
- Fennel 2 heads
- Olive Oil 1½ tablespoons
- Pitted olives 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Parsley 0 oz
- Basil 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the barbecue or grill pan.
Step 2
Slice the fennel lengthwise into 1 cm thick pieces.
Step 3
Toss the fennel with 1 tablespoon of oil. Grill for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 4
To make the sauce, mix the olives, garlic, lemon juice, and remaining oil in a bowl. Add the chopped herbs.
Step 5
Place the fennel on a plate and drizzle with the sauce. Serve warm or at room temperature.
