Goulash with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Meat 20 oz
  • Potato 35 oz
  • Sweet Red Onion 2 heads
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Bay leaf 0 oz
  • Tomato Puree 3 spoons
  • Vegetable Oil 3 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the meat (shoulder, shank, or shoulder blade), cut it into cubed pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and sauté in a pan with oil.

Step 2

After frying is complete, add the finely chopped onion, sprinkle the meat with flour, and lightly sauté everything together.

Step 3

Place the prepared meat in a pot, cover it with 2–3 cups of broth or water, add tomato paste and a bay leaf, cover with a lid, and simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Step 4

Serve the goulash with fried or boiled potatoes, garnished with finely chopped parsley or dill.
