Ingredients
- Honey 2½ tablespoons
- Soy Sauce ¼ cup
- Rack of Lamb 2½ kg
- Irish Whiskey ¼ cup
- White Pepper (whole) ½ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Lime Juice ½ cup
- Fish Oil ¼ cup
- Red Long Chili Peppers 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Green Onions 0 oz
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the ribs in a large container. In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, whiskey, honey, ginger, white pepper, sesame oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the ribs and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix honey with hot water, lime juice with fish sauce, soy sauce, pepper, cilantro, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with foil, arrange the ribs, and bake for two hours.
Step 4
15 minutes before they are done, brush the ribs with the sauce and bake until the surface is browned.
