Description
You can also add mushrooms, bell peppers, or zucchini to the filling.
Ingredients
- Dough for dumplings 15 oz
- Lean Beef 15 oz
- Salt to taste
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Water 1 cup
- Passata Tomato Sauce 3 teaspoons
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 3 mm. Use a tablespoon to place the filling so that it completely covers the layer of dough. Roll it up by hand and cut into pieces no thicker than 2–3 cm.
Step 2
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater. Finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Sauté the chopped onion and carrot in vegetable oil.
Step 4
Carefully place the meat rolls into the sautéed onion and carrot. Pour in the cup of water, bring to a boil. Add salt and tomato paste. Cover with a lid and reduce the heat. Cook for about 20 minutes.
