Ingredients
- Hake 5 lbs
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Cotton Oil 15 fl oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the frozen fillet into 6 steaks. Place the hake steaks in a bowl with cold water and 3 teaspoons of salt and leave to thaw.
Step 2
Pat the thawed fish dry with a paper towel, then place it in a bowl and pour milk over it for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Dry the fish again and dip it alternately in flour and beaten eggs.
Step 4
Fry the steaks in hot oil until golden brown. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon slices.
