Fried Tofu
Ingredients
- Tofu 15 oz
- Soy Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Scallions 1 piece
- Garlic 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Ground Korean Red Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Toasted Sesame 1 teaspoon
- Sesame Oil 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Wheat Flour 0.3 cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Chop the garlic and green onion, then add soy sauce, sugar, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper. Mix well.
Step 3
Cut the tofu into cubes and coat them in flour. Fry in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
Step 4
Layer the tofu in a saucepan, generously drizzling each layer with the prepared sauce. Simmer on medium heat with the lid on for 5–10 minutes.
