Fried rice with tuna
Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice 10 oz
- Bacon 8 pieces
- Frozen green bean pods 5 oz
- Canned tuna in its own juice 5 oz
- Soy Sauce 3 spoons
- Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the rice according to the package instructions and let it cool slightly.
Step 2
Sauté the finely chopped bacon in a wok for 2 minutes until a crispy brown crust forms. Remove the bacon from the wok and set aside.
Step 3
Add oil to the wok and stir-fry the rice for 3 minutes. Add the peas (previously thawed) and tuna, and stir-fry over high heat for 2–3 minutes. Add soy sauce and crispy bacon, and stir-fry for another minute. Serve immediately with soy sauce on the side, if desired.
