  • Cod fillet 20 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
  • Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • White Cabbage 1 head
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Red Curry Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Cream 5 fl oz
  • Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
  • Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the fish under cold water, pat dry, and cut into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with lemon juice. Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes. Prepare and shred the cabbage.

Step 2

Cut the bacon into strips and quickly fry in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the cabbage and potatoes. Season with curry powder and ginger. Sauté briefly. Pour in the cream and broth and simmer covered for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Fry the fish in the remaining olive oil (about 3 minutes on each side). Season the vegetables in the creamy sauce to taste and serve on plates alongside the pieces of fish.
