Fried Dumplings Smolensk Style
Ingredients
- Dough for dumplings 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Red Curry Powder to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the dumplings in salted and peppered water for 2–3 minutes (it's important that the dough doesn't fall apart; otherwise, when flipping the dumplings in the pan, they will break).
Step 2
Drain the dumplings in a colander and let them drain well.
Step 3
Meanwhile, heat a pan with vegetable oil and add the dumplings. Sprinkle with seasoning (to your taste) — I add curry. Fry until golden brown for 3–4 minutes. Serve immediately with sour cream.
