Fried Chicken Liver with Apples

Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 20 oz
- Apple 2 pieces
- Onion 1 head
- Red Curry Powder ½ teaspoon
- Raisins 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Swiss chard leaves 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken liver, pat dry, and trim off fat and veins.
Step 2
Cut each piece of liver in half.
Step 3
Place in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Slice the onion into half-rings.
Step 5
Cut the apples in half, remove the core, and slice into wedges.
Step 6
Dredge the liver pieces in flour and fry in a pan with heated vegetable oil for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 7
Cover with a lid, reduce heat, and cook for 7 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Step 8
In the same pan, add a little oil and sauté the onion, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, sprinkle with curry, and season with salt.
Step 9
Add the apples and raisins, mix with the onion, and fry for 10 minutes until the apples are soft.
Step 10
Return the liver to the pan, gently mix everything, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 11
Serve on a plate with Swiss chard leaves or any salad.
