French-Style Pork Steak
Ingredients
- Pork Neck 20 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Dijon Mustard 2 teaspoons
- Dijon Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Herbes de Provence 1 teaspoon
- Butter 0 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix ½ teaspoon
- Flaky sea salt a pinch
- Mayonnaise 1 tablespoon
- Sumac a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into steaks about 2.5 cm thick and coat all sides with mustard oil.
Step 2
Place on a dry, hot skillet.
Step 3
Melt the butter in the microwave, then add the herbes de Provence.
Step 4
Add the pepper blend.
Step 5
Add the grainy and Dijon mustard and mix well.
Step 6
Once the bottom side of the steaks is well browned, flip them and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 7
After 4–5 minutes, flip again.
Step 8
Season with salt.
Step 9
Lower the heat a bit more and cover with a lid. Cook for another 7 minutes.
Step 10
Warm a plate slightly in the microwave, then spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sumac on top.
Step 11
Place the cooked meat on top.
Step 12
Spread with the resulting sauce and serve.
