Fragrant Potatoes with Cottage Cheese and Herbs
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 5 lbs
- Leek 3 stalks
- Salt to taste
- Turnips 20 oz
- Butter 4 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Parsley ½ bunch
- Sour Cream 0 oz
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Scallions 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water, then drain the water. Slice the leek into rings and the carrots into thin rounds.
Step 2
Sauté the vegetables for 5 minutes in 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Pour in the broth and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Wash the parsley, dry it, and chop finely. Then add it along with the remaining butter to the carrots and leek.
Step 4
Mix the sour cream, cottage cheese, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Serve the potatoes with the cottage cheese and vegetable stew.
