Description

I like to cook this dish in a wok, but if you don't have one, a regular frying pan will work just fine. All ingredients should be prepared before you start frying, as this dish cooks very quickly, which is part of its charm.

Ingredients

  • Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
  • Chicken fillet 20 oz
  • Mild Chili Spice 1 teaspoon
  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the garlic and chili pepper; slice the onion, bell pepper, and chicken fillet (I use breast).

Step 2

Heat the frying pan and pour in the olive oil. Add the garlic, and after a minute, add the onion and chili pepper. Sauté for a couple of minutes, then add the bell pepper. Cook for about three minutes to let some moisture evaporate from the pepper. Keep the heat high. Stir the ingredients in the pan continuously throughout the cooking process. Add the chicken fillet and mix. Fry everything together until the chicken is cooked, about 5 minutes—it's important not to overcook it, or all the juice will evaporate and the chicken will become dry.

Step 3

Add a tablespoon of butter—it will soften the spiciness and add aroma. Transfer to plates. Even if you're not going to eat the chicken right away, be sure to transfer it to a dish; otherwise, the juice will be lost.
