Step 1
Sift the buckwheat and lightly toast it in a dry skillet, then transfer it to a clay pot, add butter and salt, and pour boiling water over it so that the water slightly covers the surface of the buckwheat.
Step 2
Mix everything thoroughly, cover the pot with a lid, and place it in a skillet with water.
Step 3
Put the skillet in a hot oven and cook the porridge for about 3 hours.
Step 4
When a dry crust forms on the porridge, remove the skillet, turn the pot upside down, and place it in the oven for another 20 minutes.
Step 5
This porridge can be served with cream, milk, or melted butter.
