Flemish Pork Chop with Beer

Ingredients
- Beef 25 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Onion 10 oz
- White bread 5 oz
- Mustard Greens 0 oz
- Beer 10 fl oz
- Thyme to taste
- Sugar 0 oz
- Sour Cream 0 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a deep pot and lightly sauté the onion, then add the meat and brown it on both sides. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Top with thick slices of bread with the crusts trimmed, previously spread with a thick layer of mustard.
Step 2
Pour in water mixed with beer. Add thyme and bay leaf. Heat to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 2 hours. 15 minutes before it's done, you can add sugar.
Step 3
In a pan, pour in the sour cream and lemon juice, mix them with the remaining juices, and keep on high heat for 3 minutes. Pour the resulting sauce over the meat.
