- Olive Oil 10 fl oz
- Red Wine Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Spices 0 fl oz
- Steaks 4 pieces
- Demi-Glace Sauce 5 oz
- Ground dried cherries 0 fl oz
- Green peppercorns 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Cut the head of garlic into 4 parts, brush the halves with 5 ml of olive oil, and loosely wrap them in foil. Bake for about an hour until the garlic is soft.
Step 2
Remove from the oven, unwrap the foil, and let cool slightly. Peel the garlic cloves and mash them with a fork in a bowl. Add the vinegar, Cajun spices, and remaining oil, and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Place the steaks in a large shallow dish and brush them with the marinade. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Step 4
In a small saucepan, pour in the demi-glace sauce, add the peppercorns, and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until half of the liquid has evaporated.
Step 5
Preheat the grill and cook the steaks to your desired doneness. Serve with the sauce and French fries. Enjoy your meal!
