Ingredients
- Flank Steak 10 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Rosemary 1 sprig
- Garlic 0 oz
- Pickled Eggplant with Peppers to taste
- Butter 0 oz
- Chili jam to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Let the steak rest at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Crush the garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 3
In a heated pan, add the garlic and the broken sprig of rosemary to the oil.
Step 4
After a minute, place the steak in the pan.
Step 5
Once the bottom is nicely browned, flip it over.
Step 6
Season with salt and reduce the heat to medium. Sear for another 5–6 minutes.
Step 7
Grease the foil with oil, add the sautéed rosemary and green pepper.
Step 8
Place the steak on top and add another piece of butter. Season with black pepper.
Step 9
Wrap tightly in foil and let it rest for 5–7 minutes.
Step 10
Transfer to a plate and serve with hot sauce.
