Fish Under a Cheese Crust
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet 10 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preparation: Generously sprinkle the fish fillet (salmon) with lemon juice, season with salt, and let it sit for 1 hour.
Step 2
Place a piece of fish in aluminum foil (if it's salmon, it can be a bit dry, so add a small piece of butter on top of the fish). Wrap the fish in foil (slightly seal the edges together) and place it on a baking sheet in the oven.
Step 3
Meanwhile, beat the egg with a fork, add mayonnaise and grated cheese. After 15 minutes, take out the baking sheet, open the foil, spread the cheese mixture on top, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
Very tasty and juicy. It's important not to overcook the fish, or it will become dry!
