Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 3 pieces
- Onion 2 pieces
- Sauerkraut 20 oz
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Fish 20 oz
- Water 1 cup
- Spices to taste
- Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into half rings and grate the carrots coarsely. Sauté them.
Step 2
Sauté the sauerkraut in vegetable oil.
Step 3
Layer in a deep frying pan or pot: potatoes cut into strips, sauerkraut, onion with carrots, fish cut into serving pieces.
Step 4
Add water and spices.
Step 5
Cover and simmer on the stove or in the oven for 40 minutes at 355°F.
