Ingredients

  • Sole fillets 20 oz
  • French Baguette 15 oz
  • Onion 5 oz
  • Milk 15 fl oz
  • Cheese Spread 5 oz
  • Herbs 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the onion.

Step 2

Finely chop the fish fillet (pike perch, pink salmon, pollock, etc.).

Step 3

Finely chop the herbs.

Step 4

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Step 5

Mix the fish, onion, herbs, season with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Cut the baguette into pieces 2 cm thick.

Step 7

Soak the pieces of baguette in milk, then squeeze out a little.

Step 8

Grease a baking dish with oil and lay out the pieces.

Step 9

Make an indentation in each piece by pressing the bread with your hands.

Step 10

Fill the indentations with the fish and onion mixture.

Step 11

Spread mayonnaise on top.

Step 12

Place in the oven.

Step 13

Bake at 355°F for 40–45 minutes. Then sprinkle with cheese (I sprinkled cheese on half of the pieces and left half without), and put back in the oven for another 5–7 minutes.
