Fish fillet baked in wine sauce
Ingredients
- Sole fillets 20 oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Tomatoes 3 pieces
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the fish fillet into pieces, place them in a buttered skillet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with pepper, and fry on both sides.
Step 2
Sauté chopped onion in olive oil, add peeled, coarsely chopped tomatoes and finely chopped or pressed garlic, bring to a boil, pour in the white wine, and season with salt.
Step 3
Transfer to pots and simmer in the oven until the tomatoes are soft.
Step 4
When serving, drizzle the fish fillet with the sauce formed during simmering and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
